Do I need to register my new MM with DJI?

there is no law, rule, requirement, or policy anywhere in the usa directing or requiring a recreational flyer to register his Mavic Mini with any government agency or private company.

You have to "activate it" with DJI only using the RC/MM and your device. It's in the user manual. No link needed. Unless you add weight to the MM, no need to register it with the FAA.

Hi Dan, the drone needs to be connected to the DJI FLY app and activated.
If you have purchased the DJI Care Refresh card and needed to activate the DJI Care Refresh with the drone, please put in the activation code at https://service.dji.com/care/active to activate it.
