You just can't bring out the colors properly, correctly w/o HSL!!  I didn't go way too crazy w/ the editing.  Just messed with it for 3 minutes.

Sure can tell the differance.

I guess I will keep doing it wrong; been plenty pleased so far without it.

Found the NEW magic.  It's better than the new magic from a few days ago or any of the other new magic's.

Depends upon what you are trying to accomplish.  Accurate representation of scene; as in what your eyes see.  Or what people imagine they would see.  Or Artful as in what you want people to see.  Such as some of overtly Saturated images on a few occassions posted here.

If you want accurate represetnation, best to shoot in RAW, and use a color reference card.  Leaving corrections up photo editors internals (the engine).  HSL is subjective in you adjust to what you remember of scene, or perhaps what you "feel" image should look like.

No offense meant, but to my eye, the original looks more true to life.
