DJI rep at the Seattle unveiling did not know when or what the price would be for extra batteries. It was disappointing to me to know that my phantom batteries will not work with the Inspire.
You would not want to use them. They are 3S while the Inspire is 6S. Big difference. The standard lipos are $159 and the 5700mAh are $199. That extra $40 will buy you an additional 4 minutes of flying time, 22 vs 18.
Dronefly has them listed on their site but back ordered I purchased 2. I'm also looking for 2 additional chargers to be able to charge all 3 batteries simultaneously but I can find them listed anywhere at this point.
Any idea on the 5700 battery have they been tested? Any information about them would be appreciated. Would a larger battery have the same cycle life also dji recommends storage temptress higher than I would have expected. THANKS
You can BET DJI have tested there extended 5700 Battery and they id DJI says 22 minutes flight time, you can bet you will get 22 Min before it falls out of the sky
