I have done so and it is still doing the same. I tried to turn it off and on many times.
Next step I would try is to dry the battery completely and recharge it to the max and try it to see.
Would it be a problem to dry the battery totally?

Also the only error message I have is No image transmission signal and that the cam is disconnected
