This is a little wind-test with the Mavic mini, 2x and 4x speed.
Yesterday was a really windy day, but wind means motion - pictures.
Weather forcast said, there were winds up to 40km/h or 25mph.
And moving objects look great

The little creation is doing a really good job
at staying stable and fighting the wind.

I'm intrigued.

The colours look very nice. The curve shape of the trees combined with the colours make a nice composition.
I hope you took some photos as well as :-)

Cool. I love the motion. I've found though experimentation that yes, the mini can hold it's on in a stiff breeze. Don't take my word for it though, your drone's safety is up to you.

Cheers!

The reality is that MM holds the wind well for how light it is but I wouldn't advertise the thing too much because there's still too many counter-informants what work to deny the reality and cast a shadow on the MM flight safety.

Users should be instructed on how to care for props among other things, how to respond to wind warnings... the noise of the motors alone while hovering already speaks about the propellers lifting capabilities.

And anyway, I've flown into Strong Wind Warning myself deliberately, running the battery low in a place where I could land almost anywhere I wanted, at around 20% battery my AC took a considerable blow and deviated heavily from the course, for what I could see it was almost capsized. At that point I started questioning whether it was worth it, probably not.

Despite the unit being perfect, propellers like new, battery with few cycles coming from a full charge (thus the reported percentage was quite accurate).
