Hopefully new FW will fix, I have just downloaded and flew one battery down to 18%, the wind is very low here so can't  confirm anything there.
Flying sport mode forward 50m altitude sudden stop craft going forward/back drops less than 1 metre and regains correct gps altitude.
At 1.3m altitude in sport mode over grass craft going forward will rise approx .2m flying back sport craft rises approx .3/4m. I flew really hard in sport mode at different altitude and very slight drops and increase were always followed by craft regaining correct gps altitude.I tried everything to see if I could recreate involuntary descent but couldn't, doesn't mean it's fixed but hopefully.
I also tried to take off with orignal props with battery at 16% no problem and can confirm battery works just as well at 15% as it does at 99%, my drone has been installed in case since I received in 2019 and props are fine.

All quickshots working well and hoping to post short video of 2.7k 24fps later.

I was one of those who was not having any problems but I have noticed an improvement in all round stabilization of the mini, again I’ve tested in low wind not high (yet)but from 1.3m to 90m and all seems good.
I have never changed props original still on .

Nice observations and thanks for sharing.  I did a 20 minute flight this AM on new firmware and experienced no issues.  100% was done over water since I'm out on my boat.

Somebody on a local fb DJI group posted a video of a Mini "twitching" one of the motors while showing the attached error. Maybe DJI added detection for low-performing props?

I have never seen that warning, it could be new also it could be fake similar to all fake AT posts we seen all over FB for last App update.
If it’s real it might be helpful it seems he got it while hovering in his garden rather than flying at speed or in high wind , so if it’s correct then it should show up early .

I believe this warning makes sence, as it could be one reason for uncommanded descent. Thumb up for DJI if it's true...

uh?  "on the beeping ESC" ;   never new that ESC could beep    its 1 beep for LeftFront, 2 beeps for...

Curious now about this warning!

mine didn't require calibration, only the compass was off..not sure but the exposure seemed not stable even though i was in manual mode, any similar observations? i was on a crappy s6 edge in really bright sunny day so it might be i didn't see it properly....

Not sure what you mean or indeed what that refers to, but if you want to know can you change SS and iso the answer is yes.......!!!!

it's doing something similar to the "beep my drone" function or whatever is called, in the find my drone section. Only there's just one motor doing it.

So, flew one battery today, everything was good.  Two requests of DJI 1) White Information at the top of the screen is still very difficult to view 2) Manual White Balance still does not temporarily switch to camera view when adjusting with iOS (I believe it does with Android).  One other comment, I performed a Dronie Quickshot (AE lock stays locked now), when the drone returned and completed the process it was in Sport Mode? I may be mistaken but I was pretty sure I was in C mode, it was quite windy is it possible DJI modified the drone to switch to Sport automatically??

You cannot do quickshots in sport mode so that’s very strange .

Yes, after 3 months I started to suffer from prop strikes on body, so with new props I’ve stayed out of sport mode, super careful when packing Mini away etc.  I guess it could have been me error but will try again over the next few days.

Well if they made good optimizations and did something with propulsion this should help, they dji will never mention the elephant in the room, but I’m certain they will be working on it. The video controls were needed and have come and 24fps is really nice and I know a good few were including myself were looking for this.

As hallmark007 said. Only thing I have to add is, when charging RC and it's fully charged it gives me continuous beeping. Never heard that one before. Flue over 1.1km where, over the last few days, I only managed  up to 750m. Quite happy.
