Hi, Blellow. Thanks for your attention. The 48 megapixel means that the maximum effective pixels on the 1 / 2.0 inch CMOS sensor are 48 million, which are real pixels. Mavic air 2 camera's CMOS sensor uses Quad Bayer color filter array, in which adjacent pixels use the same color, increasing the level of sensitivity when shooting.
