Which Ipad version works with the Inspire app ?

Can be clamped in the holder also a Ipad2 ?

Or work in the holder only the Ipad mini ?

You will need a A5 processor or better for the App.  I am using a iPad mini with A7 processor and retina display.  It works great.

Supported Mobile Devices includes:

* iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, iPhone 5, iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 3, iPad Air, iPad Mini 2, iPad 4
* Samsung Note 4、Samsung Note 3、Samsung S5、Sony Z3 EXPERIA

Just to clarify, the iPad 2 is not listed as a compatible iPad.  But, it has an A5 processor.  So, is it compatible?

I looked at the specs and it appears that for the Inspire the specs have moved to a A6 processor or above.  It looks like your A5 processor is no longer powerful enough.

When using an iPad with the device, does it need to have Cell service to work or can it just be the Wifi version? How does the map get downloaded into the tablet?

Maps can be buffered on line and used off line.
