Hello DJI
Can the Mavic Air 2 trace a person or a car Backwards? I mean being in front of the person or car and tracing backward?

If it does then the  apas3.0 and the active track 3.0 works the same as tracing (follow)?

Simple answer is yes it can you would need to check top speed of AT if tracking car. AT in Air2 will also track moving objects while it circles them .

Hi Niknik, no problem, it is possible to track object backward, the Mavic Air 2 has backward vision systems for avoiding obstacles when it is working properly.

Yes but as good as in normal trace mode? Doesn't the active track 3.0 work with both sensors and the main camera in the algorithm or it uses only the sensors?

The Active Track 3.0 works with both sensors and the main camera. When tracking backward, the main camera cannot see the behind. Please make sure to fly in open areas.

So only the trace mode is the safest of all and works so well even in dence forest?
