Amazon notified me that the new release date of the Mavic Air 2 FLy More Combo is May 28. What is this?

Did something happen with DJI? or is this an Amazon issue?

Info: I ordered on April 30, and when I did, Amazon quoted a May 13 delivery date. This makes sense because the first batch of orders would have come in on May 11, so with 2 day prime shipping, it would arrive on May 13. I'm hoping they just made all orders as the second batch of arrivals (May 28) and they'll fix it soon... thoughts?

I recognize that Amazon is prioritizing essential items. But then why would the regular drone (not the bundle) keep its original shipping date?

Update: New release date of May 19... They're definitely trying to figure things out

Update 2: I canceled my Amazon order and I checked in with a DJI store 30 minutes away and they have them in stock. Just drove there and got my Mavic Air 2 Fly More Combo!

Same I saw it... I just no idea..... I plan to pre-order and arrive on May 13. But now will plan to delivery on June 1

I am sure Amazon used their first delivery of the drone bundle up already and need to wait for another shipment. If you saw the drone by itself is still May 11 shipment.

That's what I was thinking, but the order I placed 2 days after released, which has been saying May 13, tells me it's May 28 (arrives June 1) now!

I notice that amazon have two different release on the date. If you order on Mavic air 2 combo fly then will be May 28 release. but you still can get may 11, but no combo fly... I want combo FLY

I contacted the DJI store where I live, and they say that if you order it, you can pick up Monday May, 11. So something is definitely up with Amazon.

Think we have an over sold drone.

True, they definitely sold out of their first batch of drones. I don't get why people like me (who ordered it with the May 13 shipping) are getting pushed back though.

Perhaps another reason is the MA2 is not considered "essential"? Many non-essential products are delayed because Covid 19 products and other essentials are given highest priority.

Maybe, but the Mavic Air 2 (non fly more combo) has a release date of May 11... It's so weird

no need to lash out.. I recognize this, but then they would delay the regular Mavic Air 2 as well...

FYI...  I ordered mine on April 30th directly from DJI (no sales tax) and they told me that I'm still on track for an on time ship date.

Hmm, ok. That means Amazon should still ship it to me on the original date. Also, don't count on no sales tax, i've heard stories of the IRS billing you the tax 1 year down the line after purchase...

Hey Folks,

DJI found a bug in the 3 battery power supply that comes in the COMBO.   Apparently,  if you open up, and setup to CHARGE YOUR BATTERIES for the first time with the 3 Battery charger, it can brick the batteries.

So I might guess they are updating firmware on all systems that come with the 3 battery charger....... Their statement is to charge your batteries for the first time with the SINGLE CHARGER.....This will properly ACTIVATE your new battery....... After the initial charge and activation you can then use the 3 battery charger........

I had preordered the dji Mavic air 2 bundle and it said it was supposed to arrive on may 13 and today it got delayed to june 1st I try talking to customer support but no luck. I cancelled the order and placed the order with Best Buy payed a lil extra and its supposed to arrive on may 11. If they fail I will cancel the order with them as well. Unless they are honest and there is some type of communication.

They changed it to May 21, but it's still a week after what they initially promised.

Just saw it. 19th release date.

I would not expect the Mavic 3 until at least Fall.  I don't know who told you "for sure this summer" but that seems a bit too soon after the MA2 launch.
