2 months later, still having issues going further away than 50 meters, only about 25 meters above ground. Same restriction going East or West, looks like a very narrow limiting cylinder, and I do get the "Maximum distance range reached" alerts. Really annoying.

Has anyone experienced that and found a solution please ?

Interestingly, in the manual, it says :
Pour plus de sécurité, le vol est limité à une hauteur de 30 m et à une portée de 50 m lorsque l'appareil n'est pas connecté à l'application pendant le vol
Translation :
For more safety, the flight is limited to a 30m altitude and only a 50m range when the drone is not connected to the application during the flight.

Technically, what is that supposed to mean ?

Video signal could not be better, and the drone always perfectly answers to the RC.
So why would it say it is not connected ? Could it even fly ( except RTH obviously ) without being connected ?

- A cause des mouettes,  je vole avec la cage de protection, j'ai donc effectivement activé le "payload extra". Ce réglage bride le vol ?
- Comment lèves-tu la geo-restriction stp ?

Retirez la cage de protection, la distance de vol est automatiquement limitée avec elle en place

Also to be noticed the cage heavily impairs the Mavic Mini flight capabilities, gravely enhancing the risks associated with wind. I highly suggest you don't fly outside with the cage on, I believe it's far more likely a seagull would peck on your Mini anyway cause trouble than vice versa.

All right then, I'll try without the cage.

But the drone won't survive more than 3 mn, once the freakin' seagulls team up and start messing around with my toy

D'après ce que je vois, après Agay ce devrait être bon, essaye sans les cages, sans aucune surcharge et , comme cela, tu sauras si c'est du au géofencing ou au payload (qui bride, en effet, le vol: 98ft agl / 164ft dist, de mémoire, sauf erreur)
Sinon, je me rapprocherais de DJI car ce n'est pas normal d'être bridé de la sorte
Une dernière chose: je me suis fait vraiment peur, en volant sur l'eau, car il descend tout seul en plusieurs étapes et assez vite: j'ai pu reprendre de l'altitude à temps, mais, méfi ! Je dois tester si en bloquant les senseurs avec du duct tape on éviterait ces descentes involontaires (juste pour le vol sur l'eau), mais cela ne me réjouit guère (fait suer ce bug)

Custom unlock :
Enter proof of your authorization to fly in the airspace where you are requesting a Custom Unlock. This could be a LAANC authorization confirmation, a COA, or some other form of documentation demonstrating you have permission to fly in the proposed area.

Well if that is the case, I wait for the EVO 2 to dump DJI

En fait, avec du recul, cela semble juste du aux protections d'hélices, à enlever, donc ou penser à désactiver l'onglet payload (ça marchait il y a 3 mois: tu gardes le payload mais tu n'es plus bridé)
En tant que newbie, j'ai eu tendance à voler toujours avec les protections au début, mais elles offrent une telle résistance au vent qu'il est préférable de s'en abstenir (plus d'autonomie, et de résistance aux raffales), imho
