Hi all,

Had my first real flight with my new MA2.

What a great drone this!
Started with 100% batt, landed with 20%, fly time 24 minutes.

Not a single error and Aircraft Orientation Indicator worked perfectly.

HDR video is a joy, without post editing it looks great for me (not a prof video person)

Tested out the HP re-setting during flight, both options worked oke. (hp reset to current craft position and reset to rc position)

EDIT ; not sure how this HP reset works when RC is selected....or its is the actual position of the RC (thus data GPS data from mob device) or its the first position at take-offNeed another flight to test this out ;-)

Used all the pictures mode, but cannot find the seperate pano pictures etc.

yes, but where are the seperate pictures ? the app will combine all pictures taken into 1 picture, this i see on the SD card.

You need to switch to jpeg and raw and then access the raw files the jpegs will only be the merged file there was an earlier thread on the forum called RAWS that covered this as someone wanted both the jpeg and raw files.

We all are and it's likely there will be significant change over the next couple of months.  If they use FLY to support the future MP3 it's going to need a lot of tweaking applied but feature will be subject to drone firmware updates also.   There is already quite a list of desired options let alone those that just need corrective actions like the icon/status bar.

and as you said, it is easy on the controls   so not missing the expo settings etc.

I've just got back from three more flights with it - the thing few comment on is how glitch free it is compared to other models - not one warning message or erratic movement in the 80 minutes of flight which has been consistent in every flight. Lets hope future firmware doesn't spoil that!

Nothing in over 6 hours of light time so far - even the wind warnings are realistic, if that makes sense. Enjoy it.

Nice flight.  I am struck by how flat the Netherlands really are in your video.  I imagine despite the CE limitation, range is going to be pretty good and strong, as there is no terrain to really interfere. I've had mixed results with forests and the topography with my MA2.

Yup, NZ is beautiful. I do miss SA a lot especially with all the open spaces for flying, in NZ people get worried when you fly a drone from your house thinking they being spied on but I will never leave here for anything. Life is so much better here.

Thats great to hear mate - glad you've settled in well. I've never been to NZ - though I lived in Australia for a year and travelled the South Pacific countries of the Solomon Islands and Fiji but never made it to NZ - may be one day. I'm sure when you branch out that you will find many beautiful locations to fly without getting on anyones nerves. Enjoy the MA2 when it arrives.

Well, only the north-west part of The Netherlands is really flat flat.
I never fly out that far, but today i reach 1300 meter and (ofcourse) no signal loss.

There's a lot of wind turbines

Several MA2 flights for me so far...all flawless....for the drone that is...not the pilot ;-) My second was open field RTH tests...with each one returning exactly to the landing pad, most in the middle of it. I really liked the way it hesitated while lining up the pad in a 20 mph crosswind and adjusting for that...even with a tree very close by. The others were tests of the tracking modes. One day I'm gonna get this sucker parallel-tracking my boat at near full speed! Or it goes swimming ;-)

very disappointed with mine. Gimbal motor overload issues out of the box. I brought it from Amazon!!!!
