Hello all,
im looking at my mates phantom 4 pro 2 with the GL300k (built in display)
we are not able to upgrade the firmware from v0.4.4.2 to v1.0.4.0.
have gone through all the downloads, there is suppose to be a .bin file but when we download the gl300k fw it has a folder with a heap of files in it.
the gl300e fw has a single .bin file in it like the upgrade instructions show.
have tried going through the assistant 2 app but it only gives me an option to do a "restore factory defaults"
we have restored factory defaults several times with no win
when we reset to factory defaults the controller (without the drone on) says "new firmware is available! phantom 4 pro+ v2.0 01.00.5000" which it is already on.
when we try to update this it gets to 5% and fails. after that we cannot try the update again.
cannot link the drone to controller.

need to get into recovery mode or something and do a full reset or something. or force the new firmware on???

Anyone?
Need some help here. No point sending this away for 2 weeks for dji to spend 5min resetting something which i can do from home.

Is anyone body out there?

yeh we are getting the update prompt but it fails on the controller. and its the wrong fw from what i can gather.

Make sure Dji assistant is allowed in you Pc or Mac

fails trying the update on the controller through wifi and through dji assist (on 2 pc's). i think to fix this ill need the force the update through some dji service software.
