Is anyone else getting weird photo artifacts at the bottom of their pictures after running the lastest update? All of my photos were fine before the update but now they have somepixel blur along the bottom edge. It's not hard to crop out but I'd prefer not to have to do that for every photo I take. I attached one so everyone could see the issue and I zoomed in on the left side to see better detail of the artifacts.

Thats disconcerting...

I just found another thread about this. Apparently DJI is looking into it. At first I couldn't find any other threads and I thought I might be all alone on this one.

I didn't realize I also had the same issue until today in this pic:
If i crop the picture I might get a better result.

A NEW firmware for the Phantom 3 ADVANCED is out to fix this issue

You can now download a new udate for the Phantom 3 ADVANCED version 1.2.8 from DJI - http://www.dji.com/product/phantom-3/download

This update seems to ONLY fix the strange artefacts on the images when shooting in 4:3.. No VPS fix yet by the looks of it..

Overview:
1. All-in-One Firmware version updated to:v1.2.8
Major Updates:
1. Fixed issue of unwanted lines at the bottom of photos and videos when the image scale is set to 4:3.
Notice:
? Users may skip updating the remote controller if they have already updated the firmware to v1.2.7, as
the latest firmware update does not affect the remote controller.

That was a quick fix, hats off to DJI for getting onto it so quickly.

Presumably this issue only affected the advanced model and not the professional model though?

It would seem so.. I have gone back to check and all I see having the issue are Advanced models..

Yeah same here, no issues with IOS on iPhone 6 / iPad Air, P3P.

Hi,

Just in case others with the P3P also experience some issues with image or video quality, it could be due to the memory card. Am assuming the Lexar sdcard I received with the UAV was not able to write 4K fast  enough, I also got large parts of grey banding across still images.

Upgraded to a SanDisk extreme pro and all those issues have gone.

Just a heads up for others that may stumble on this thread with the same issue as me.
