Limnionas beach of central Evia with the black pebbles that is wet from the Aegean is about 50 km from Chalkida and the route takes about an hour.
The Aegean beach of Limniona, is bordered by the mountain slopes in a large bay that is divided into two beaches by a large rock.
The beach has a very interesting seabed with stones, rocks and lots of fish.
To the right of the beach is, walking up the cliff, the so-called Isle of Baker, an Englishman who has bought a large house there, in the small and steep alleys of this beach.
Limnionas is a port for some fishing boats and the taverns above the beach (weather and moon permitting) usually have good and fresh fish. There is no organized section on the beach so those who want a sunbed and umbrella will do well to bring your own.
Many people choose the beach of Limniona for free camping despite the relevant prohibition by law. Those who catch it catch the shade of the trees at the beginning of the beach while the rest are gathered in the left part of the beach (as it is bordered by the rock in the middle).
The picturesque settlement of Limniona does not offer accommodation. It has only three taverns located on the street, as well as two small cafes.
