Many thanks for you kind comment about my english. Very far from perfect but I think everybody can understand even with the faults ;)
I'm currently belgian from the "south" so my mother language is french. I speak a little bit dutch also.

If this is the case, do some have a male Phantom and others have a female Phantom ? is it based on the serial number ? And is this the goal of DJI "games" to make them meet together ?

I think I read that it can be used to upgrade the RC firmware using the gimbal sd card with a cable to the RC

You're wrong : to update the RC with the supplied cable, you have to connect it to the gimbal connector.

Thanks all, then its for both retriving flight data from the phantom, and updating the RC
