I have pulled off the .DAT files from the MG-1P but am not having any luck reading or making any use of them.  Has anyone been able to use these files or knows what program to use to view them?

If you can provide a .DAT using Dropbox or similar I'll take a look and see if DatCon can read it.

I was able to get on a 64 bit computer and run datcon, i have event files and what appears to be an empty kml but was hoping i could pull off some spraying information as well.  When i tried cssview it told me the data type was unsupported.  I'm assuming the spraying data is somewhere but im not sure how to get at it.

Seems the .DAT you provided was a non-flight? Anyway, try this: Tell CsvView you want all of the DatCon signal groups.


Fire up a SigPlayer. Take a look in the PENSA group (click the + to open it). Try the same for the spray_sys_ctrl_cmd and spray_sys_state groups.

Looks like i got what i needed! Exporting the .zip gave me a csv with what appears to be all the data.  Thanks a ton for the help!

You can also export the .csv without zipping it.
