Also - how do you guys keep youtube from stepping on the video quality?  

Nicely done. Usually after uploading to YT I wait for about an hour
so that it's completely uploaded then I post. But that's just me.

Thanks.  I give it an hour or more also, but I still feel like I'm loosing quality (ie it looks better locally) on they YT upload.  I know on iOS there is a setting for upload quality (set to full in my case).

Nice. Just upload the full 2.7K footage (or edited) and use a high-bitrate encoder for your final video file. Yt will still compress it, but at least it will start from a higher quality video.

With Mavic Mini, always upload in 2K (1440p) for best quality. As mentioned before, youtube takes a while (could be many hours) for the video to be in good quality.
