I have a DJI F 550 with a NAZA M v2. I use a Spektrum DX8 RC controller as well as a Spektrum RC receiver. I am giving this to a hi school student who is interested and enrolled in an aviation class. I also use this Spektrum RC controller on several other of my larger DJI S 800's so I do not want to part with my DX 8.  
What Is the best method for binding a new RC controller to this existing set up? Should I buy another DX 8 and transfer the current setup via SD card, then bind to new controller, complete by calibrating as with any new setup of a NAZA M V 2?

Or just buy another controller and do the above - I would like to get this into his hands ASAP!
