Hello, dear DJI crew.

Recently I bought official local Mavic 2 Air and faced the problem of unstable connection in city. DJI Fly app reports that only 2.4 GHz bands are available to use.

But your local representative "FLY TECHNOLOGY LLC" successfully certified Mavic Air 2 for dual band usage. You can check official information on NATIONAL COMMISSION FOR THE STATE REGULATION OF COMMUNICATIONS AND INFORMATIZATION website.

By Commision’s decision № 288 (28.07.2020), "DJI Mavic Air 2 models MA2UE1N, MA2UE3W" are allowed to use next frequencies in Ukraine: 1164-1215, 1215-1300, 1559-1610, 2400-2483.5, 5725-5875 MHz

Also, another your product - DJI Mavic Mini was also officialy certified to use 5.8 GHz bands and latest f/w update finally allowed to use it alongside with 2.4 GHz.

We don't have this option (5.8 Ghz nor Dual band).
5.8 bands are unavailable by mistake and DJI guys still remains silent

Transmission settings:
Missed option to select 2.4/5.8 GHz
Missed option to change channel mode.

5.8 GHz is not allowed in Ukraine per regulations, that is why you don't see it in settings.

Please look at the first post, 5.8 GHz is allowed and works well on mavic mini

Dr. Alex's statements appear to be consistent with what other Mavic users are saying about 5.8Ghz in the Ukraine.  It may be that there is a specific restriction for certain types of 5.8Ghz use or power in Ukraine in addition to the CE restrictions.  This is a regulatory issue and not something DJI will be able to add.  The DJI Crew is probably ignoring your topic because the work arounds violate regulations.
