I see that with the new  version update that V01.00.0340 provides a zoom feature for the Mavic Air 2. I cant seem to figure out where it is.  Ive tried different settings.  Any suggestions on location and how to use?

Keep the FN pressed and use the gimbal dial for smooth Zoom.
For raw Zoom, you have in Right a 1x to be clicked.
You need to select at Video: 4k Zoomed = max 2x or 1080p=max 4x.

Thanks.  I have tried that and it doesn't work.   I installed new update 01.00.0340   I did have a power issue when installing ...could that be issue?  

Connect to PC with DJi soft, click REFRESH on firmware... Will be rewritten.
Be carefull... I have tested the digital Zoom, în 4k is medium noise, în FHD is a lot of noise... As semi-pro you cannot use it... For hobby it will work ok.

Make sure the version of the fly applies also updated to at least 1.1.6

Cool, i didn't know about that. It looks like decent flying weather tomorrow so i'll get out and try it out!

It was updated with the last firmware in early August. However, version 1.1.8 has just been released so update to that

I just updated this morning and have no zoom function at all. I’ve checked and rechecked as well as checked to make certain my firmware is up to date.  What am I missing??

When I try to update the firmware it states “ up to date”

Might be a bit late but I have the same problem. I contacted the online support. Turns out that my iphone 5 does not support the zoom function within the flying app....

I am having the exact same problem. Did you find a fix? I had a mavic air 2 that was overheating. I sent it back and they sent me a replacement through the care refresh program. Now this one does not overheat but will not update at all I get the exact same screen as yours. I was able to update the controller and the batteries but not the drone itself. I tried everything discussed here to no avail. This is very frustrating, this is the second air 2 and I keep having problems.

You need to set video to 1080p 30fps I did this with litchi in fly app there’s normal hdr and another but I can’t see how you do 1080p
