I experience a noise in all videos using H265 and D-Cinelike profile.
I use PolarPro VD Filter, 4k footage at 25 and 30 fps, AP fixed at 2xFPS ...
What i have remarked at editing the video with Premiere: a lot of noise in image after color correction...
I know that D-Cine is gaining a lot of data for Contrast and color future improvement at editing, and this is why is making image a little noisy, but was not expected by far to see so much noise in a movie with D-Cinelike that is wanted to be used by semi-pro's.
Anyone experienced some like this?

Make sure you downloaded files direct from the SD card and not by downloading using your phone??

Yes, downloaded from sd card, i have an micro sd to usb adapter and is very simple, i never put phone in computer.

Even the not edited movie have the same grain...
Without filter, auto, mid Day, ISO 100, Image is good, but still i see noise.
The photos i did not checked, but i dont use it for photos... That is a sample.

This footage looks really heavily compressed. And/or it have been pulled up too much in post. Might be your export settings combined with Youtube. It's hard to judge anything when it's butchered this way. Does the initial export look this bad, before Youtube have had its way with it?

Slightly better but with same noise, 40%less artifacts... YouTube is compressing a lot.

Ive also noticed there is a LOT of noise in the video modes. This noise seems to be very visible in the shadow detail.  I know we are in an age of post processing and able to remove with Neat video plug ins etc.....But at ISO 100 it really shouldn't be there! Plus using H265 and 4K 60 frames My mac is grounding to a halt.  Ive noticed this a Lot also in Mavic Mini footage. Maybe DJI are using a new codec or something as its not present in Either P4Pro or even the original Mavic Air and Mavic Pro in which Ive owned.  Hopefully this is something that DJI can...and will tweak in a further update. Heres Hoping!

Seems that in H264 noise is attenuated...even in D-Cine is manageable by Premiere to give a good final footage after corrections...
Will keep testing H264 vs H265 as this gives a difference until now...

So the noise is less noticeable in h264…That is strange.

Another reason to have the choice of codecs in higher frame rates.  C'mon DJI, let us have that.

I have made today a firmware downgrade than upgrade.
Surprise...Is working...And H265 now is better than H264...as it should be from start.
So...my head is blank at question WHY!...Important is that now the H265 codec is in what i can see much better than H264...
You can see in picture attached the difference of both codecs in the same recording, without changes of environment.
Was used 4k and image zoomed at 400X.-Edit- 400x is 4x, i work with Premiere and I am too used to check 100x as Normal and soo on...

Thanks George that really is quite an interesting side by side. Ive come back on here to see if theres any progress on the noise from the Mavic Air 2 at even ISO 100. Im just going through my footage and its becoming an issue quite frequently in the shadows...and even in the mid tones. Did you find an answer from DJI? Really hope they look into this.  

Looks like we aren't the only ones with the issue. Its such an awesome product but let down

D-Cine will do noise... Still, from Last FW refreshed, Hevc codec is working just fine... But there is other issue... When i incline the gimbal i have one luminosity and color, when i go with camera close to Front Image it becomes brighter and colors are going up up up...
All set to manual mode, is completely destroing my footage in D-Cine.
The small bastard does not do this in normal format with AP fixed... So I do not know Why the hell is happening this... Will load a footage today probably... Is over 30% difference between Light and color, impossible to corect it with Premiere..
Probably will sell MA2 and move to M2Pro... To manny problems...

That is very strange George. I know its a pain but you really need to set a colour balance. When in Auto this sensor/Firmware combo totally messes up colour temperature step/Changes.  Also as a side note...Ive noticed you have a tiny artefact running across the lower end of your camera. In certain panning up and down you can see a slight colour faded line running through your footage.  Its not massively noticeable but...I can see it on my 5k Imac Pro.
