Asisstant 2 Keeps displaying Firmware Upgrade. Cannot Activate.

When I update these new standard goggles via DJI Assistant 2 for FPV, The update process gets to 89%, thenthe goggles disconnect from the PC and reboot.  The software then jumps to 100% and the version shows the latest in the software.  When I click the Back button and click then the goggles icon, instead of taking me to the Activation prompt, it takes me right back to the Firmware list.  The Firmware list shows as it did before as though the update did not take, but the goggle status shows they have the lastest firmware. The goggles and software continuously loops like this and I cannot activate the goggles.  I am using DJI Asissatant 2.02 for FPV.

This is very freustrating because I JUST had to send in my AC and RC because the last update for the RC crashed in the middle of the update in DJI GO 4 and bricked the controller.  I was initally sent a $430 bill for all kinds of unecessary repairs and DJI repaired it free of charge only after I complained that it was not my fault.  Here I am again with another software issue with like new DJI goggles the first time using them.

I was able to downgrade the firmware, reboot the googles and DJI Assistant and it now says it recognizes it has he latest update, but then I click Back and then click DJ Goggles icon, it takes me back to the list again rather than Activation.  When I click Refresh next to my version in the list, it tries to install the firmware again whereas it should be proceeding to the Activation prompt.

I was able to activate the goggles using DJI GO 4 on my iPad without an issue.  I never got Assistant 2 past the point of the firmware update loop described above.  Good luck.  No reply from DJI at all.

I refuse to update the AC, RC, or goggles now after what I went through with my RC being BRICKED and replaced and now this. This is absolutely ridiculous.  How are DJI developers releasing software that clearly has hardware conflicts??  To have something go wrong the FIRST time I attempt to use it?? I’m not buying anything else for this setup.  Too risky that it will be bricked or malfunction in mid-flight.

If there were so many problems, nobody would buy it anymore.
But you also made a consumer drone to bricken.
What should DJI write? They laugh because there are people who don't even understand what "REFRESH" means.

What are you even talking about? There is an entire forum dedicated to problems EXACTLY like this.  I thought you were having a similar issue which is the only reason I updated the thread but I guess you’re making an attempt to be a smartass with your broken English and failed insult.  The only thing I don’t understand here is why there are CONSTANT support threads with firmware issues exactly like mine. If you’re capable of comprehending what I wrote, and the screenshot I posted, you’ll understand that this is a software error, not user error and it’s NOT the first time.  Now, kindly go troll somewhere else.

Have a read genius. RC Firmware Update failure is a known issue, which is why it was repaired at the expense of DJI.  Feeling stupid yet?:

Let’s see.  What should occur after the firmware has been updated and you restart Assistant 2? You click the DJI Goggles icon and the Activation prompt opens.  That does NOT happen.  It returns you to the Firmware list.  This problem isn’t difficult to grasp, well maybe for someone who can barely read English it is.:

You just don't know how to use a software. It is not a software bug.
My broken English at least knows what REFRESH means. And instead of filling up the forum with such garbage, just turn on your brain.

Ok smart guy.  Tell me what is supposed to happen when you connect a set of goggles that already has the latest firmware loaded, but has not been activated.  Go ahead, I’ll wait. I know what “Refresh“ means.  It’s checking to see if a new firmware version has been released.  I don’t know why I’m bothering with you because it’s obvious you don’t understand the first thing about this post. How about you go look at the search link I posted and go troll some other support threads?
