Hi all, I've owed my Mavic Mini since June and this was the first time that I was able to get out to somewere with a bit of space. This also my first time using the Resolve software to edit a video. I hope you like it.

Congrats on your first production. I see you've got to grips with the Davinci Resolve software. Same one I use. Nice to find a bit of space for the drone to take wing, isn't it. Thanks for the share.

Very nicely done

Nice video!.
My only (personal) tip would be to slow things down a bit.
The scene is looking rather calm but the edit is quite fast.
If the video gets too long, just leave out some parts

Yes, it's not very easy to learn and I'm not one to do hours of reading, so it's trial and error and then walk away for a bit, but I'm getting there.

Thanks Montfrooij, I'm with you on the speed, but I find it difficult to keep the video short and also get across the sense of orientation if you know what I mean.  
The approach to a subject can be very slow and boring, but you need to be a certain distance away for the 'revel'.
I guess it's all about getting the balance right.

I most certainly know that doubt.
There is so much 'good' footage you want to show.

But you can be sure people don't need all that footage to know where you are.
Just take a couple of good shots (usually 10-15 seconds max) and you have established  your location to the vieweres.
Next you can show some details in the area that are interesting with some smooth motion.

And with a drone only video it is not uncommon to have it about 2 minutes long.
Unless there is something really interesting going on.

It is a hard thing to do, but the output will usually benefit from it!
