I have two air units.

One in a wing. The other one in a quad.

I get a much better reception with the quad. See attached image.

The settings on both:
- High quality
- Focus Auto
- Bitrate 50 mbps

My two units are registered with DJI Assistant 2 (FPV).

On both I did the following steps:
- sd card in air unit with naco.txt (1 in the file)
- power on goggles
- power on air unit

Why is the reception different ? I feel that with the wing, I cannot go very far.

Also, when I look at the Player menu, I only see 3 channels (ch1, ch2 and the public ch8). I don't see ch3.
I'm located in Canada.
I've tried ch1 and ch 2 on both. Same result ... better reception on the quad.

Thanks.

Try switching them and see what happens. Then let us know.

I'll try two new antennas on the wing first.
Then yes, good idea, I'll switch the air units and see how it goes.

I've found the antenna connections on the air unit are a weak point that constantly need checking.

I found the solution to my problem.
When the air unit is not connected to a FC like in my wing, you have to turn OFF the Auto Temp Control.
If you don't do that, the unit with stay at 25mw.
