I done the basic compass dance....

Should I do this IMU Cal ? I have NOT updated the firmware (still 1.1.9) and I have the SAFE TO FLY (GPS)..

Can I fly ?  or do this IMU cal first... ?  Do I need to put it on Ref to cool it?

It's a good idea to calibrate the IMU when you receive it and after installing firmware updates. Check out this video for some helpful tips:

I just performed a beginner mode flight.... 50m altitude ..and its very stable....

Just performed compass dance...dont think IMU should be touched ....not thinking of upgrading from 1.1.9  unless the dust settled
