Hello,

I just received my Pocket 2.  Updated the firmware and have the latest Mimo app.  I cannot seem to figure out how to do Slow Motion 8X (240 fps).  Anybody had success doing this on the Pocket 2?  The Slow Motion 4X (120 fps) works, just not the new 8X.

From what I remember on the reviews it is only available in certain modes .

Only in 1080p mode.

Yes, slow motion does only work in 1080p.  When you switch to SlowMotion mode, it automatically downgrades to 1080.

I did discover that if I disconnect my phone and the Mimo app, then I can use the little screen to choose 8X Slow Motion, but as soon as I connect the Mimo App, the only option for Slow Motion is 4X.  This certainly seems like a bug or feature not yet implemented in the DJI Mimo app.

Any thoughts from the Forum?

Hello there 3dbproductions. Thank you for reaching out and for the inquiry. The DJI Pocket 2 has a 4x and 8x Slow Motion. It can be selected on the touchscreen or in the DJI Mini application.
  - Via the DJI Mimo application: Scroll to select "SLOWMOTION" and choose 4x or 8x.
  - Via DJI Pocket 2: Swipe left on the touchscreen to select Slow Motion and choose between 4x or 8x.
Just a reminder that video resolution is at 1080p 120/240fps. Thank you.

I must be blind, I cannot see an option in the Mimo app to choose between x4 and x8.  Can you post a screen shot in the Mimo app that shows this?  I am using an iPhone 8 with the latest iOS 14.    I am using V1.5.2 of the Mimo app.

Thanks for confirming the issue.  I run the mimo app on my iPhone platform.  What platform do you run the mimo app connected to your Pocket 2?  This might help troubleshoot the issue.

This happens here on Android 10 too. In Mimo App only SloMo 4x is available, but when the phone is running stand alone, on the phone we can also select the 8x Slomo.
Seems like a bug in the Mimo app.

Hey DJI, have you qualified this as a bug and expect to fix it? What's up?

Just updated the Mimo app today for its last version (v1,5,4). I can also confirm, the Slow Motion x8 is not available through Mimo app, but only x4. There is an icon on the left hand side of the screen (same row as Home and the rest of the camera settings). This icon it shows x4, when Slow Motion is chosen on the display right side settings (camera modes). This icon it seems to make possible switching 8x/4x, but it is inactive (no any option is open when is touched). It may be a bug in Momo app, as choosing 8x/4x it works fine on the camera unconnected to phone.

Any news about fixing 8x Slow Motion in Pocket 2 via Mimo?

Just tested... NO. You still CAN'T SHOOT 8X SLOWMOTION in the Mimo app. This bug was reported in early NOVEMBER. What's going on?

Hello, I just bought the Pocket 2, I've been trying to use all features to know everything about it, and I just find out that with the iPhone linked to the Pocket 2 in the Mimo app can't use Slow-motion 8x. I'm using Mimo app 1.5.11 with iPhon XS and latest update.

Scroll to slow motion then 3 dots on right of screen, slide across option to select x4/x8...

I can see that there are problems with shooting videos in slow motion at the moment. Therefore, for these tasks, I am considering other options. I hope this is a temporary problem.

Yet another issue with processing power being to weak when using the app/ screw it all handle.

How is it possible that such a big bug is just ignored after users report it for YEARS. Now, February 2023 and the same slow motion issue in the app persists. I won't buy any further DJI products. I own several drones and the cam but it is just not acceptable that no feedback leave alone a bug fix have been provided.
