Is there no way to add focus to waypoints in track mode?

I have the focus motor.

I assumed in track mode the waypoints would also include the focus point when it's enabled. The fact they don't really limits the creative options of the combo.

Am I just being a fool and not seeing an option anywhere?

This would be a very useful option. I am surprised and disappointed it was not implemented.
