Just updated my MA2 and heading out now to test it!

Here in the US I'm still showing 340 as the current aircraft firmware when I tap the Check for Updates in the About menu.  And I'm not being prompted to update the firmware on the Fly app Home page.

Did they add some new features, as requested from a lot of users ?

The new Firmware release includes optimization for the Downward Vision System, reducing noise and power consumption of rotational speed of fan and notification alert when propellers are unfolded. I will update today and try it out if I have time.  After the experience with the Controller update on 11/5 with all the bugs, it is probably best to test it out in an open area where you have the ability to land incase there are bugs.
The Mavic Air 2 is defintly noisy when turned on to connect to a computer in the house.

May be its being rolled out in stages - on iOS it popped up this morning here in the UK. All updated, did three flights and no problems at all. The fan now shuts off immediately on start up and VPS has improved. BTW you will also need to sync the FW to all of your spare batteries.

Just updates to the cooling fan on start up and VPS detection increased to 30m. Be sure to charge your RTH altitude after doing the update as will be set to 330 feet.

I noticed the differences Paladin - no problems with the flights too after updating. Good work!

All done and all good - the fan shuts off straight away after booting up the drone and is quieter when it eventually comes on - like it has different settings now. Note that all of your spare batteries will need to be synced too.

Shame there is nothing on that one in the release notes - once the FW is updated on the drone (which does the battery already in it and the RC) just replace the battery and wait at the home page with the picture of the MA2 on it and another FW request will pop up - thats for the battery. Repeat for each spare battery that you have.

I use iOS and had no problems flying on all the latest updates (AC, RC and battery FW, Fly app 1.2.0 and iOS 14.2)

Did you do all the latest updates on the controller (firmware), the phone (FlyApp) and on the MA2 (this firmware release) ? Then every thing should be fine again for you.

A lot of them seem to be either Android &/or issues with the Mini - iOS on the MA2 was perfect today on all of the latest updates.
