Hey everyone, I passed my part 107 back in July, all good there.  My question is unlocking geozones.  I tried using KittyHawk, which I did get an authorization number for, but it seems like I have to do a custom unlock via DJI's site.  Is that valid?  Is that the same with Airmap as well?  Would be nice if there was an easy way to unlock geozones and for the DJI app to be updated given the unlock.  Maybe there is, but the process seems tedious and confusing, but I am most likely missing a few steps.  Amy help would be appreciated.  Thank you!

DJI is NOT a approved LAANC UAS Service Supplier. So you will have to take that extra step and get your NFZ unlock via https://www.dji.com/flysafe/self-unlock The self unlock if approved is usally good for 3 days.

Gotcha, so utilize Kittyhawk, get the authorization, then do the custom unlock via DJI's site?

Yes, that is how I have managed. I usally get everything before arriving  on site. You never know when you might not have cell service. Also I  have had issues with using a mobile phone using the custom unlock page.  From what I have found it requires the page to be loaded in desktop  mode.
