Hello, small 4k video of my few images taken yesterday to test the MA2 at the end of the activtrack test video which is very efficient I think, I had a small disconnection at 400 meters so I did not dare to go more far ... I admit that I was a little disappointed, isn't ocusync 2.0 made to avoid that?

Hello thank you for your feedback, my view was clear yet, in the video the first image. I would try again when it's sunny today windy and rain a lot unfortunately.

Very nicely done.  Occusync is much better than wifi but it also has its own limitations.  I have only experienced one quick disconnect and that was at 800 meters.  Enjoy your MA2.

I am in the US and we have a higher radio output under FAA.  Europe is CE and the power restrictions on the transmitters are much lower.

I have found that certain areas just have a lot of interference.  Also, objects can refract and absorb signals in expected ways.  Often at closer range I try to push through the weak signal.  Sometimes the area is small and on the other side the signal is pristine.  

I regularly run 6.4km out at about 100m with other people I fly with spotting along the way.  One person in my group got just over 8km before the signal dropped.  He had to force land because of battery depletion about half back on the return.  

Occusync 2.0 is not perfect but is still in my opinion incredibly good.

I exclusively use automatic.  Automatic will find the optimal channel with the least interference.  Unless you are going to pre-map the area in advance and analyze the data for WiFi I would stick with automatic in an urban environment.
