I think it may be a back slap adapter bracket, if so be sure to calibrate the OHM flux bearings. If calibrated correctly the flight time should be improved by 3 minutes. This should launch us into a new technogical age that is unprecedented as our world exist today

It's a handle so you can use the Phantom as a hand held gimbal.

My grandmother used one of these. Glad to see they are becoming popular again. It is a hand operated wringer for laundry. They work great....

Good idea Zoti, works well. Hopefully soon DJI will have mic's in camera for the occasion. Of course ignore the goofball messages, all fun BS

You know what is missing ? a cover for the blinking back lights and turn off the front lights then you have a nice Ronin-M and a phantom 3 in one

A steady-cam that can fly!  I love it. Next you need to make a waterproof housing so you can take it diving like a GoPro.

I am using the XYZPrinting Davinci printer.

Let me make some adjustments to the design to perfect it.

Took my GoPro and Feiyu Gimbal to France with me back in April. The staff were collecting selfie sticks at Versailles, but they left me alone!

Guess if they don't like selfie sticks, they'll hate drones! LOL

Indeed. Once in Pompeii we booked a night visit, was a full moon night so the possibilities of really nice shoots were high. We, me and best friend, read carefully on the website about any limitations on photos and we went there. At the entrance, while on the queue we took our tripods from the backpack and we were warned we couldn't use it. We asked why and they reply we couldn't, so I insisted asking why on the website there wasn't info about that and they reply we couldn't (quite annoying when people without knowledge of what they are doing order you to do or not to do something). Higher ISO and an high backpack worked.

Who took your selfie stick?

No one confiscated my selfie stick - I didn't have one! I had a GoPro on a battery-operated 3-axis gimbal. The handle is long enough to hold three moderately small batteries and one of the staff members thought at first it was a selfie stick. When she saw what it was, she smiled and let me go.

Right behind me was a large group of Japanese tourists. That same lady stopped the group and confiscated several selfie sticks. They apparently planned to hold them until the group exited.

I still don't understand why they took them. Is it disrespectful to use a selfie stick in Versailles?

Any chance of sharing your .stl file for the few of us that have printers also?

Maybe it is just the video feed on youtube or my computer but both of those videos seem jerky when you pan.  Why is that?

jhall651, I noticed the same thing. The first video above looks a little smoother than the second video. I've seen it in other "steady cam" videos from the Phantom 3 too. Perhaps it could be improved if using the most ideal video settings for the current location.
