Being that the controller is the same for the MA2 and the MM2, plus the smart controller that works with several of the DJI drones, you think they'll ever sell just the drone, charger and battery set?

From a corporate marketing and profitability view I doubt DJI will do that.  However, you never kow about DJI.

they should sell the drone + battery - charger - remote.
