I love his range tests - looks like he underestimated the Mini 2's capability on this one though and flew back too early!

It helped to made up my mind.
Luckily was able to sell my Mavic Mini for a good price and am thinking in a change to the Mini 2.

Great test though

Just 15,000 feet on this one. He seemed more focused on the zoom than the range. He could have easily got 3-4 miles if he pushed it (though he did admit that in the vid).

The Mini 2 cruises at 22MPH in N mode in light winds. So the fact he was flying out at 15-19MPH showed he was flying into the wind hence why he flew back at 22MPH and in RTH he could have pushed the pitch stick forward and got 28MPH...

He said he's going to do another one though!

What an absolute let down this video was! He spent the final 10 minutes or so, plus his full spare battery, boring us all to death testing out his Quickshots AGAIN. He could have easily used that spare battery to quickly do another range test where he really pushed the Mini 2 past the distance he got with the Mini 1.

One of the lovely things about owning DJI cheapest drone is that crashing it is less stressful on the finances - though with care refresh included... He could have flown further.

The scary thing is you literally cant see it from several hundred feet and I can't hear it from 100 feet away - which means if someone else is flying one you won't know it's there either as either another drone pilot or someone just walking their dog... Pros and cons to that but as the operator of the drone it's a massive PRO! By far the stealthiest drone I have ever owned.

I think that is considered a bonus for me as a pilot indeed.
And maybe will be good in more ways because it won't annoy people that much. (if you fly high enough)
