Does about 1mm of your micro SD card stick out of the drone?

On most of my devices that use micro SD memory, the card is completely housed when properly inserted.
On my mini 2, abot 1mm is still outside the housing.  Is that normal?

I  am waiting for milder weather (hopefully tomorrow) to do my first newbie test.
My hands are very shaky (old age) so I am both excited and a bit nervous about control.
I think I will set up for 40 feet max height and distance for the first flights.

If the card is firmly lodged, then you should be OK. If it was not, the spring would likely flick the card out of the slot when you let go.   I almost lost a card once when exactly that happened

i haven't checked mine yet but i know what you are saying.  i absolutely hate it when stuff like this happens, to me it's pretty shotty in terms of refinement and workmanship.  especially if you repeatedly take the card in and out.  will the door not firmly lodge if the card is not seated properly?

I don't think the FAA allows .92mm.  At least 1.00mm must be accessable.

Hello there buehlerbg. Thank you for reaching out and for this information you have posted. I hope that you will get the best information from our fellow DJI co pilots with regards to this matter. In addition As long as the said SD card is locked in place and secured on your DJI Mini 2 then it should be good to go. Have a safe and happy flying always.
