Wobble in video. HELP!!

I've tried everything I can think of to fix this wobble including calling DJI to troubleshoot this and can't seem to fix it. Can someone please help me fix this?


It is a Phantom 2 with the Zenmuse H3-3D Gimbal and a GoPro Hero 3 Silver

Usually caused by unbalanced or damaged propellers also check if one of the motors have resistance when you rotate by hand ( on  power off). If everything is ok do "advance calibration" of IMU on P2V assistant program. If nothing works it should be your Zenmuse H3-3D Gimbal you mught have to recalibrate that.   Hope this helps, Good luck.

Have you ever had a crash? On the top gimbal arm, if moved to the side, you'll see a small black hex screw (image attached). I had my first drone have a pretty bad crash, and the gimbal was acting up. After tightening the hex screw, the issue was gone.

Some have also mentioned changing out the rubber dampers, from the white ones so the soft black ones.

OP, when the copter is airborne, can you actually see it wobble? I mean, is the whole craft wobbling or just the gimbal/camera section?

Also, check that all your dampers have plenty of play. They should be totally loose.

i just reset the gimbal with the instructions of that video and now the gimbal is completely dead

That looks like a faulty gimbal. Hot-wiring it should have re-set it.

Unless someone knows of a better issue, I would contact your dealer, let them know the situation and see what's the next course of action they recommend. Sending it in for a repair most likely.

Sheesh, the last time I saw that kind of jello wobble was when I was flying my Phantom 1 with damaged props!  It sure looks like you're getting some induced vibration thru the vibration absorbers, the anti-drop pins or both!  I don't know if the dampers harden with age but I'd consider swapping them out.  I also notice you didn't mention whether or not you've tried a new set of props.

Dear, You should follow these steps to factory reset the Gimbal:
1. Short circuit this 2 point and power on
2. Release short circuit when red and yellow light on
3. Using assistance V3.6 for Phantom2 to upgrade to IMU version 1.0.10, keep power on all the time till upgrade completed.

i have a same problem. I try use anti-inteference board and now vibration is gone... but i think there are still some micro vibration that i can see in video

There is new update for zenmuse h3-3d GCU 1.0.0.12 ... Maybe it will help solve this problem. I hope.
