I think that your battery might have run out of power, and then the drone came down. It happens.
You can replace the core board yourself, no soldering involved. Just be very careful taking the bottom plate screws out, or you will strip them. Also, be careful unplugging the ribbon cables. You dont want to have to replace any of those. After that, all you need to do is bind the controller to the drone, and presto, youre done.
Once again, I dont think its your core board thats your problem, but if you replace it and it works, power to you.
By the way, your IMU failing would not cause a crash, especially if your #2 IMU is still working.
