Make sure it is balanced well before you turn on the Ronin-M, and if 12 is not good for you, you can increase the stiffness manually

+1 on DJI-Cathy's response. I tested out the extremes of tilt stiffness and found 40 to be a nice sweet spot in terms of response time that I like. 40 also happened to be the auto-tune suggested configuration. Best -George

Hi Georges,
Your test is impressive and the shot looks great.
Is your camera well balanced in all axes, i.e. does it stays still in all directions and rotations , before powering the ronin ?
I am having a lot of difference balancing my 5D M3, do you have any tips ?
Thanks,
Yann

Hi Yann, Sorry for taking so long to reply back. After I manually balance on each axis, I let the camera sit for a few minutes (usually 5 minutes) and then I check back. I have found that waiting this long allows any imbalances to become more pronounced. Also, I re-balance each axis anytime I switch lenses. I believe the motors work more efficiently the better the balance.
Hope this helps & happy shooting -George
