I was asked to give a presentation to the San Diego Film Consortium on Quadcopters and the type of footage you can get.  What better then a Demo Reel.  My wife, who is impartial to Aerial videos, really liked the music.

This is really fantastical! Love the speed ramping and fast forward effects. You do a really nice job in post for sure. Have to ask: are you using a 7th channel lever to get the shots like when your flying forward over the water showing the reflection of the phantom, then tilt up to show the forward shot? Or are you using the tilt function on the touch screen?

Thanks for the feedback.  7th channel to tilt up.  You have to set your gimbal to the slowest setting, and just pull the lever up full.  No need to try and feather it, cuz it will never come out smooth.

What is this "7th channel" and how do you set it up? Is this even something you can do with the Vision 2+?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that it's the lever on the back of your controller that allows you to drop or raise the angle of your camera from looking straight down to panning it straight ahead.  Not sure how this would effect the Vision 2+.

Yours is missing the lever in the back.  The Phantom 2 has it.  I guess that the Vision 2+ doesn't have it.

That great footage is the reason I brought one!!!!

I love the depth of the colors in the video. Is that mostly cause the camera is so much beter then the vision + or are you using software ? The lighting has to be perfect for me to get anything close to that.
