How many people use their Ronin M, without a monitor.

Inside it will work.

Outside, when thew sun bright shines, you cannot see anithing on the monitor.
Sunhood? Does not make it much better.

If you use a short lens (20-35 mm) and watch which side the lens is looking thrue,
you can immagine what's filmed.

Might be not 100% perfect, but when using a short lens, it mostly will be correct.

I guess? Or not?

i used my ronin-m in a backstage shooting after couple home tests & without any experience with gimbals at all...no monitor or focus control.. lens was a 16-35 all shot @24mm. the footage came out pretty good but i was indoor so i had to push iso and keep @f8+
so if no monitor then better use a wide lens & and stay high with apperture..focus your object and keep the f. distance while moving...also if you go upright mode then you can see the camera's monitor.
if you wanna use 80 &100mm or its too lowlight, then you need monitor and focus control anyway
