New app update available from DJI download centre - cannot see any release notes as to what this new app version brings us - anybody got any ideas?

I don't see anything specific, but there were a few Android devices getting black screens, maybe a fix?

I looked into that myself and thought it looked imminent according to that!

Or is this seen as the Fly App itself is being worked on, since the fly App works for MA2, MM1 & MM2. Obviously it would never likely work with MM1 as it is wifi only!

App seems to work fine in my S10+.

Android only update. Intrigued.

Not got any issues on my rooted oneplus 5. So will hold off until I see some further reports.

it still works on my S9 + but I haven't flowed yet, I just tried to connect it to the drone inside as I switch to video as display black but it writes lack of light apparently this camera is not very good for worse light.

Whenever doing an update remember to always log off and log back on.  Just a DJI recommendation.

I'm not seeing anything in that post other than a screenshot of the app's "about" page.

Even 1.2.2 still not in PlayStore, so downloaded again on DJI site, but can't find Device Management under Profile, whilst online DJI support is all in Chinese

Sounds like Fly's only being updated directly from DJI, explains the old version on the Play store but they really need to get this version out there or a lot of people could be left behind with the Play store version that's not self-updating.

This version & 1.2.2 are not in the Google Play store, you must download from DJI! We don't know if this is the only way going forward or not yet. As many are new to drones, there are probably many who have not or will not update from DJI's website. Hopefully there will be a statement with directions from DJI so everyone will know how to keep their drones updated!

I have dji care. On update of the app I was asked to link my controller to my account for flyaway coverage.  Not sure if it was coincidental, or part of the app update.

Not flown with the updated app yet. But when I started the props and then shut the props down, the app gives me a very brief atti mode warning. I dont think it use to do that, and it goes immediately.

Had the same notification just when i updated and started the app. Everything works fine on my S10+.

Unfortunately we still don't get the option to toggle the map view with the Fn button, as IOS/Apple users are able to do.

probably it was for the 1.2.2 version on ios. i just saw there the device management tab to register for the flyaway coverage, so i am assuming they activated it remotely. or it will get released these days...
