Does anyone knows what 802.11 type is equivalent to what dji uses to control the aircraft? I have assumed is like RC radio used to control radio controlled helicopters.

DJI refuses to disclose any details.  (They love to make silence.)

I have no idea if it is spread spectrum?  If it is... What method?  Time domain?  Frequency Domain?  Both?  WTF?  Please tell us?

As long as DJI refuses to disclose any technical description of how it's better than 802.11...  I must assume it is standard 802.11 transmission.

I would really like to know. Worst comes to worse can reverse engineer it myself. I thought it might be available already...

Perhaps we will have to sniff the trafic and check the packets. If we see MAC and IP ADDRESSES it means is the traditional wifi networks we use at home.

A lot of wireless capable devices uses 2.4ghz but they use  diferent protocols

What I am most interested in is knowing if each antenna handles a totally different function.
