Hello, wanted to share some narrow area navigation with my MM2.
Started well, and used the phone grid to monitor and study the screen Vs. LOS.
I think I did well till the end.

My findings:
1- ALWAYS in C mode
2- stay as low as you can
3- use the guard (I didn’t lol)
4- keep the camera facing away from you (so you don’t move the wrong way by mistake)
5- prepare to crash

Started great, ended badly.  You really have to be super careful when flying in that location.  Hopefully you had no major damage.

That’s true, started well, and the last hit was a wind gust ,
Nothing major, just some sand
It was fun though.

Interesting and flying in tight areas is fun.

Practice 4, when the drone is facing you move the stick in the direction the drone is moving to correct, unless you want it to move that way, works for all except altitude.

I would guess you had a few compass errors.

It was fun, I tried after I saw a YouTube video about tight spaces.
The last impact was minor since I was on a playground, but sand got into the motors, and air blower fixed the whole thing

I think I’ll stick to open spaces now lol.

hhasanain,

It was inevitable.  Tight spaces are a recipe for a crash.  You obviously knew the risk and took necessary precautions to reduce the possibility of a crash.  Including "prepare to crash" is an excellent warning to others.

Thanks for sharing.

I agree. Honestly I had my hopes up that I won’t crash since I was very near by and keeping an open eye , but you are correct lol. That’s exactly why I said prepare to crash.

Stay safe all

why not just pick up a small inexpensive toy drone you don't mind banging up and repairing yourself and you can zip around the playground with impunity; much more fun.  looking fwd to the dji fpv.

There are tight spaces, and TIGHT spaces.

Preparation is everything, if you want your drone to survive. That means predicting the challenges even when venturing into uncharted territory.
I hope this shows what you might be up against.
