I made this New design, only 12 Grams made of Titanium,
This will resist a Lot more than carbon fiber, and never will be broken.

How much does the rod cost.  How is it attached? The only thing that I don't like is that all the stress is concentrated in one area and not spread out over the whole length of the landing gear.  The weight factor is great. I don't know what carbon fiber ones weigh.

You can put plastic straps to add more support , I like without them for easy take off

Are you hoping to sell these at some future point?

right now I have 5 who I can sell or maybe for auction
there are not easy to made.
