What was the drone you owned before mini 2

the original mavic mini:  mm1

quite a different drone.

Phantom 1.1.1Very different drone. Needed a GoPro for camera, and couldn't see the video till after it landed. I.E. wasn't exactly sure what was being filmed, that I got the shot I wanted. At the time, I thought it was so awesome.

a mavic 2 pro, which I still own and fly.

No drone before....previously it was an RC helicopter. Reason for change.....photography and movies.

Mavic Air 1. The Air was a great device. Changed purely because of new regulations.

Spark, which I still own and fly (on occasion)

I had the original Mini, but as others have stated there is quite a difference between the 2.

Mavic Pro that now gathers dust due to all the flight restrictions.

Why the question? I've seen this question asked elsewhere. Trying to understand why it matters?

A little toy drone, about 4 inches in diameter with crappy photo and video capabilities that I flew around inside my house.  No stabilization, so lots of crashes at first, but I believe it's what helped me learn how to fly my mini 2 so quickly.  I tried to take the mini drone outside a few times, but was majorly affected by the slightest breeze.  

Mavic Pro, Phantom 4, Mavic Platinum, Spark, Mavic Air, Inspire 1, Mavic Pro 2 and Mavic Mini.

mini2 is the first one

Phantom 3 Standard and a Spark

DJI F450, with E300 propulsion system and original Naza M control unit. Literally 10 years of development between it and MM2. And I did not have a GPS antenna at the beggining, so I flew on ATTI mode only. 3D printed extension legs and gimbal, gopro as camera. I bought Mini 2 due to restrictions, it is absolutely different, and I love it.  You can't even compare these two, it is unbelievable how the drone development moved forward.

Mini 2 is my first drone, did consider the original Mini but thought I would wait a bit, glad I did.

Phantom 2 vision+, MP1, Spark, MM2, Phantom2 vision+ destroyed by update by DJI app. (burnt WIFI module so no FPV), Spark sold.
Still have MP1 and MM2

Spark, followed by Mavic Air.

I'd find Mini 2, faster to setup and fly, because it's easier to attach the mobile to the controller. It is also much quieter and Occusync 2 fly with better connection.

I’ve noticed the same as well...Imo it flys like a top of the line drone
