As you all know(???) the Mini 2 has a zoom capability, even 4x on 1080p.
Now to make a Dolly Zoom, (take some time to practice) you do the following thing.
Take a object in the middle, tilt camera zero.
No fly backwards and keep the FN key on your RC in.
When flying backwards zoom the object in with the turningwheel on your remote. See example.

If that is the case couldn’t this be done in post? You could then keep tweaking until it was perfect.

Thats a zoom effect that looks nice but is in now way the dolly zoom, simply because there is no physical zoom. The change of perspective while moving away or to an object makes a dolly + zoom.
A good dolly zoom is pretty tough to master but for focussing in on a subject (or isolating it) it just adds that extra power.
Haven't been trying it with the mini 2 but I feel a weekend project in the making ;)
And would be a supurb new mode to automate: tracking the subject, keep it center and calulate the zoom according to the distance.
