I'm terrible when it comes to FPV.  I have a cinewhoop FPV that I have crashed and repaired more times than you can count.  

I wanted to try out the simulator for the new DJI FPV drone but it appears to be iOS only at this time.

I’ve been toying with the idea of getting a cine whoop but I’m sticking to the simulator for a bit.

Bought some very long boards and beams.
I will have to find a place to store them a couple of weeks (also for painting)

The last time I bough long lengths of timber (4.2m) I couldn't get them into the room,  in the end I took them in through the upstairs window,  such fun.

Oh yes, I thought about that indeed.
Good thing I have a large double door to the second driveway in this room.
But storing them outside and giving them a base coat will be a challenge with the Dutch weather.

Having just seen how you guys cross the road out there I’m sure you’ll have a plan.    Very clever the road crossing I thought.

No it appears you have a unique way to cross the road that is the opposite of what England and America (and I guess most of Europe) do.

Ah ok.
It is not always working as good as it is told here.
But that is not because the system is not right.
I think it is a good way though.
We also have some experiments where cars run on the pavement. Or actually the whole street is converted to pavement.
It leads to less accidents, as the drivers drive more carefully when they don't know what to expect.

I live on a hill and the road is very straight and the amount of people speeding is getting ridiculous.

It is a common thing here too unfortunately.
Although our roads are probably designed better that the ones I see on Discovery Channel in UK.

Im not sure my road was designed,   from my limited research it started mid 18th century,  in fact my house was built in the late 1920's.  I found a picture of it in a VJ Day street party.

I think most of our roads were rebuilt many times, with new (busy) traffic demanding wider and better layed out ones.

Most original roads here started as foot paths.   and very few get redesigned, mostly we build bypasses.

I saw in one of the Drone articles that the simulator is Ver 1.0 and they felt it was still a beta type release.  Stay at it I'm sure you'll master it.

It certainly seems that way and some of the maps do say beta on them.   

Good video.  Awesome flying locations.

It just seems like having an FPV with the goggles looks more fun then flying a Mavic Pro 2 with an iPad.
