Hi,

Just got the new DJI FPV, unpacked, charged the batteries full,
Downloaded DJI Assistant 2 FPV Series

plugged in controller and updated fine

Plugged in the goggles, and update fails at transmission stage

Plugges in the drone, and update fails at transmission stage

Attached is image of the error

Batteries are fully charged, tried several USB-C Cables
Also tried different Mac's as mine is the new M1, tried intel Macbook as well

Getting a bit annoying now as spent good amount of money on this, and cannot update it, dont want to fly until firmware updated

Please help!!!

Make sure that your equipment is fully charged before doing the update!

Make sure you are logged in too!

I updated using the fly app, which worked fine. When the motion controller arrived it wouldn’t update the firmware as the aircraft battery was too low, updated the motion controller using assistant 2 which it did! Went to fly and the system would not allow the
Motion controller to work as it reckoned the firmware wasn’t up to date rather annoying had to connect it via the fly app to complete the process. It seems the fly app is more reliable when updating etc.

I gave up trying to update via DJI Assistant 2, just failed every time and all batteries are 100% charged

Ended up using the DJI Fly app and that has successfully updated everything
