I have a P3 professional and am curious if the information I've customized via the app, such as gain and expo, are stored on the DJI app, the controller or the quad copter itself? I am using an iPhone for app device but purchasing an iPad mini in a few weeks and I'm not sure if I need to record the data and transfer by hand it or if the tablet and app will receive info from controller/P3 and update the app.

Any thoughts on that?

Some settings are stored on the Phantom itself -- and, others are stored on the device running the DJI Pilot application. There is no documentation that shows which settings are saved where, so it would be best to double-check everything once you get your new device.
