I've only had the M1 for about 10 months, so I plan to upgrade to the M2 later in the year.

I doubt it at the moment. Pre-covid, I believe it was.

Very impressive shots Blériot.    That Chateau has amazing grounds.  Nothing like a very short walk to go out to play a round of golf, do some water skiing or enjoy a game of soccer. Now that's the life.

It's adjacent to a country walks path, too. Which is where I spotted it from.

Dragging their heels badly in regards to the Covid pandemic.  New cases remain much higher than the UK. And the vaccination programme is a shambles here.

I did hear they were bad mouthing the UK vaccine.   Were now doing the over 56's officially but I hear that if you turn up at the excel centre they are not turning anyone away and I know of a number of people that have taken older relatives/partners for the jab and got theirs at the same time.

Yes. A lot of work is being done to improve the walking route, which will eventually extend for 27Kms.

That is great that they are doing that and for that distance.  I wish the local government here would provide something similar.  The local bikers (2 wheeled, not motors)  have been pushing for a bike only lane for years but mostly to no avail.

This part which passes the golf course is the track of a former railway, so it's wide and flat, through open countryside. Ideal for walkers.  The new stretch will pass the "Surprise Castle" of my other post, which is at the far end of the county.

Great use of the old railway path.  Who knows what else will "surprise" you when the walkway extension is finished.  Has to be more hidden gems out there for you to find.

I think it would be unwise to consider international travel at the moment. And large parts of France are currently in lockdown - with restrictions on travel within 10 Kms around home.  There will be new announcements around the 17th May, but for now the borders remain closed.
